CrownHeartWorld ~ Step by Step

Russell Minick Crown Heart World

15

This is a sketch of  the whole Bible using 3 main symbols arranged in 5 columns to show the Story of Creation/Fall/Redemption/Transformation/Completion. Below is a brief explanation of each of the 15 steps in drawing CrownHeartWorld.

1

A crown represents what is ultimate. God is the I AM, the self-existent one, from whom all else gets existence. “Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory!” Psalm 24:10

2

Humanity is made in God’s image. God is love. We are created to love God and love people.

3

The world, drawn as a circle under the heart, represents all of creation. A good God made a good world and made man in His image to rule the creation wisely.

4

Humanity turned from God. Our hearts are upside down and out of order.

5

The world (creation) is now broken and out of place.

6

The cloud with a question mark shows that God is now hidden. This is because the fallen world eclipses our view of God. Our upside down hearts are trying to get the love we were designed for, but we try to get it from the creation instead of the creator.

7

The arrow from the cloud to a heart in the 3rd column shows how God’s promises to rescue humanity, from Genesis 3:15 to John 3:16. Jesus lives the life humanity was meant to live: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”  ~Micah 6:8

8

The world rejected Jesus with a cross. Jesus took the cross and our upside down hearts. “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” ~2 Corinthians 5:21

9

The resurrected Jesus, with scars from the cross, showed that his good is greater than our bad. The arrow shows that Jesus ascended.

10

The Crown in the cloud shows that now we can know God more, but we do not know everything. “For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.” ~1 Corinthians 13:9

11

The world is still broken and out of order. “…the sufferings of this present time…” ~Romans 8:18-25.

12

Our hearts are turned upside right when trust in Christ. ” I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” ~Galatians 2:20. The 3 arrows above the heart are Faith (looking back at God’s trustworthiness), Hope (looking forward to all things renewed) and Love (looking outward to a world needing Good News in word and deed).

13

The world will be renewed. “Behold, I am making all things new.” ~Revelation 21:1-5

14

Humanity in Christ will be made complete. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.” ~Romans 8:18,19

15

“Behold, the dwelling place[a] of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,[b] and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” ~Revelation 21:3,4
